To prevent confusion, any lateral TD that is scored will count as a run to the player scoring the TD. The Yards for the TD player starts from the spot they get the ball. If it is pass, the QB receives full credit for the pass and TD as well. The player that received the ball or ran the ball prior to the lateral will get credit up until the point of the lateral. |
When you enter a team, you must submit a team name. Team names cannot be duplicated. Once you create a name, that name is yours for life. When making your team name, be creative and remember that the names will reflect you. You may only use the same team name once in each of our sports leagues. If you have 2 or more teams in one of our sports leagues, please make different names for each of them. You are encouraged to use the same team names year after year and maybe you might find yourself in the Fantasytime Sports HALL of FAME. For multiple entries, you may use a Roman Numeral after your name. This is recommended for the Fantasytime Playoff. We have no affiliation to the NFL and official NFL team names will not be allowed. Try to avoid team names that may be offensive to other owners. We reserve the right to reject obscene names. |
2 Quarterback |
4 Running Backs |
4 Wide Receivers |
2 Tight End |
2 Place Kicker |
2 Defense Special Team |
This is what you will need to draft and have on your active roster at all times. |
Your starting roster will be made up of 8 positions and may include one Alternate player (AP). If you are submitting an alternate player, you must identify the player that he is the alternate for. Your weekly starting roster to be turned in must include: |
1 Quarterback |
2 Running Backs |
2 Wide Receivers |
1 Tight End |
1 Kicker |
1 Defensive Team |
1 Alternate Player (optional) |
This is the only starting rosters that will be permitted. |
1 AP (optional) Teams are allowed to name one
alternate player for a position player. Each week you will need to
post your alternate when you submit your lineup. You will enter your
alternate player and identify the player you are alternating for in the
Quotable: section below the lineup submission.
When you submit your lineup you will need to fill this in prior to selecting
the submit button. |
Starting rosters for a Thursday Night game must be submitted prior to game time and cannot be changed once the game begins. Other roster players can still be changed on a starting roster until the weekly deadline on Sunday. Owners can now change lineups until 1:00 PM on Sunday morning please keep reading. This excludes any player that was on the Thursday Night NFL team and those players are now locked until Tuesday. Players assigned for the Thursday Night game cannot be changed. Any roster not updated by the due date and time will result in the previous week's roster. This includes any player that plays Thursday. The Integrity Rule applies for all games and weeks. The Integrity Rule is listed below. SATURDAY GAMES
To submit your lineup, you will go to your teams homepage by clicking
on your teams helmet. You will then click on Lineups located in the top left
hand corner were you will then be required to enter your teams ID to enter
your lineup page. You will then click on the players you wish to start
that week. To remove a player from your starting roster, simply click on
that player and he will be removed. Remember you must include your
alternate in the Quotable section if you wish to us an alternate for that
week making sure you identify the player you are alternating for. All
lineups can be looked at by going to the leagues homepage on the program and
selecting Match-ups. If you do not submit a lineup, one will be submitted for you by the commissioner. You can put your lineup in starting each week after 3:00 AM Tuesday. There is no reason why you do not put a lineup in. E-mail the commissioner if you will be away. Once the deadline passes the lineup is closed. If a team does not post their lineup by the weekly deadline, the commissioner will submit on for them. This lineup will be official and will count. Please submit your lineups weekly early as you can update them again up until the weekly deadline.
*** teams may change their
lineup until 1:00 PM Sunday mornings. The rule above will still be the same.
If a owner does not submit a lineup by 11 PM on Saturday night, the
commissioner will put one in for them. The commissioner will not submit any
alternate. |
The Alternate Player (AP) is used to backup one of your starting players. When you submit your starting roster, you may add one alternate player from your bench. This alternate can only sub for one identified player. Make sure to identify which player he will be the alternate for. If you do not identify the player and position, the alternate will not count. The alternate can only be an alternate for the position that they are and not for another position. (example: a quarterback cannot sub for a wide receiver.) The alternate score will only be in effect if the positional player does not play. If your selected starting player is in the game for one snap of the ball, his points will count as the official score. The alternate player score would not count in this case. This rule was created to help the teams who have a questionable player prior to game time
lineup deadlines. If a team submits two alternates, the first one listed will
be used only and the other one not recognized. To submit an alternate player, you will fill in the alternate players information below your lineup submission in the Quotable: section. This is a sample of how you need to input your alternate in the comments section under lineups: Alt. E. Smith RB for Identified Player J. Stewart RB You can view a
teams lineup by clicking on Matchups on your league programs
homepage. You will see the teams lineup and under the owners name any
alternates submitted will show up next to Quotable:

Our leagues are all about fun and fair play. The Integrity Rule has
been created to keep it that way. The issue is bye weeks and season ending injuries. Bye weeks are part of the game, so be careful when drafting your team. Injuries are also a part of the game, but they are uncontrollable. The point here is that there is nothing worse than coming down the stretch and a team that has fallen out of the playoffs race does not update their lineup. This is not in the best interest of the game and will not be tolerated. The following rule will help to aid the teams that forget to submit a lineup on time, are away on vacation and cannot get a lineup in, or to help out a team owner that has lost interest in their team. Teams must put there best foot foot forward and teams that put inactive players in their lineups will be warned by the commissioner. As long as the players are active players there will not be any questions. Have respect for your fellow owners and play to win each week Although this rule does not prevent a player from playing there backups, it is always in the best interest of the owners to try to score the highest score each week to qualify for the grand prizes round. It only takes one week to qualify and to get a chance at wining the bonus prize. If a team does not post their lineup by the weekly deadline, the commissioner will submit on for them. This lineup will be official and will count. Please submit your lineups weekly early as you can update them again up until the weekly deadline. |
Any team that does not update their roster for a period of three weeks during the regular season or has not had contacted the league in this time period will be considered abandon. If a team has been ruled as abandoned, the league commissioner will run the team for the remainder of the season. All efforts will be made by the league before announcing a team as abandoned. The franchise will then be sold at years end. |
Dropping one player on your roster for another player not on a roster. A player cannot be picked up in the same week that he was dropped. Each team will have unlimited transactions per week but must always maintain the roster requirements.. Weekly transactions can be made from Tuesday at 3:00 AM EST until 11:00 PM EST Saturday. |
The transaction period will begin the Tuesday prior to the start of the
2023 season. Weekly transactions can be made from Tuesday
at 3:00 AM EST until
12:00 PM EST Sunday. Transactions are not allowed after week 14. Tuesday until Wednesday before 9:00 PM EST is the waiver period were it is worst to first. After waivers have been posted until 12:00 PM EST Sunday, is first come first serve. No transactions will be allowed after this time each week.
*
Add drops will be allowed in playoffs for all teams in the
playoffs. Once a teams season ends, that team will no longer be allowed to
make add drops. Each team will have a maximum of 1 add drop per week, if
they wish. The same process with waivers and then first come first serve
like our weekly add drop timeline will be used. |
After the Draft prior to the regular season, transactions will be allowed the week prior to the season. Waivers will be used. If you have drafted wisely, you should not have to make any moves until after the season has started. The regular season transactions will run every week from Tuesday at 3:00 AM EST until Wednesday before 9:00 PM EST. Any players wanted by two or more teams during this time frame will go to the team first in the waiver order. Once a team has selected a player, that team will become the lower seeded team in the waiver list. If you do not make a transaction in a week, your rank in the order can only get better. This means that the first ranked team will have the first opportunity to pick up a player. If they add a player, they will now drop to the 12th selection in the waiver order and everyone will move up one spot. If you add one player you will move to the bottom of the list in order of giving everyone else the opportunity to add a player. This will be the rule for all 12/14 teams each week during the transaction period. After waivers run, until Sunday 12:00 PM EST, pick ups will be first come first serve. |
A player must clear waivers before he can be picked up by another team. A player cannot be picked up in the same week that he was dropped. Waivers last from Tuesday at 3:00 AM EST time until Wednesday at 9:00 PM EST. All players picked up in the waiver period will be posted that night. Players will be first come first serve after waivers until Sunday at 12:00 PM EST. This will allow all teams the availability to add a new player, if they were not able to during waivers. Players dropped cannot be added in the same week as they must clear and go through waivers. |
Trading one player on your roster for another player on an active roster. Teams can trade players weekly, Tuesday at 9:00 AM EST through Thursday at 9:00 PM EST. |
Trades can be made through the Thursday 9:00 PM,
prior to week 10. Weekly trading can be made from Tuesday at 9:00 AM EST until Thursday at
9:00 PM EST.
If a trade is submitted with any player(s) scheduled to play in a
Thursday night game, both teams will need to indicate if they will be
starting them or not. This is the owners responsibility and not the
league. This is to ensure that if the trade is approved after the start
of the game that you know they are starting or not and if the trade is
disapproved that the players would be starting or not. Since the weekly
trade deadline extends through game time Thursday, this needs to be
included in the trades sent in by you the owner. If the player in the
trade is not identified to start or not, he will not be included in a
starting lineup.
|
Trades will be submitted by the commission to the entire league for
approval by e-mail. After a trade has been submitted to the commissioner, the trade will be sent to the entire league
for a vote. Once a vote has been sent out to the league for a vote, the
owners need to reply within 48 hours. In the case not enough votes are
received, the commissioner will cast enough votes to approve or disapprove a
trade. If a trade seems fair to you you should reply with a Yes
Vote. If a trade seems to be to one-sided for one team, the owners should Vote No on the trade. All E-mail votes should be sent to the Commissioner. If six teams reject the proposal, the trade will be vetoed. If six teams vote to approve the trade will be passed. The commissioner will hold the right to cast up to two votes per trade.
If there are not enough votes cast, the commissioner will cast enough to
approve or disapprove the trade. The commissioner will not overturn any decision made by the league if there are at least 6 votes submitted as approved or disapproved. The commissioner may also include comments on the trade to the league prior to them voting on the deal. It is the responsibility of the commissioner to inform but not restrict trading. Each trade will be handled quickly. After the trade has been approved or disapproved, the Commissioner will E-mail the league with the results. If the trade is passed, the players are now available for your starting roster. During the regular season, any trades that are passed will be posted on the leagues
bulletin board under trades for 2016.
Trades can be made through the Thursday 9:00 PM, prior
to week 10. |
In order to place a player on the IR, he must be listed as doubtful or worse. You will only be allowed to have a maximum of two players on the IR. Any IR player can be reactivated at any time. This does include the playoffs. A player that is on your IR list and plays for one snap of the ball must be reactivated the following week. If you reactivate a player from IR, you will need to drop another player from your roster. Make sure that you meet all the requirements for your roster. If the IR player is not reactivated, he will become a free agent. All IR moves will be posted on the leagues homepage in the transaction reports. A player can be put on IR from Tuesday at 9:00 AM EST until12:00 PM EST on Sunday. The same rules apply for IR moves that apply for transactions. Players will be picked up in the same way as the Free Agents. Please check out Transactions and Waiver Period for the pick up rules. IR moves can be made in the same time frame as transactions. The final day to put a player on IR is Sunday of week 14 at 12:00 PM EST. A player on IR can be reactivated anytime. This does include the playoffs. *See transaction period for special case for QB or K in week 14 or playoffs. |
The drafts will be held live in our draft room. The date and times will be posted as the leagues are formed. The initial draft order will be determined by dice rolls at Irony.com. Each team will
have the dice rolled for them by the commissioner. The highest roll will win the first pick in the draft. The draft order will be from the highest total dice roll to lowest to complete the draft order. The draft will be in serpentine order. (1 -12, then 12 - 1) The draft will be 16 rounds long. Each team will draft 16 positions to fill all their roster spots. |
After the initial draft selection has taken place, each team will receive the draft order. All teams should fill out a list of pre-ranked players. This must be done so you are prepared to draft your team. Time limits for the draft will be enforced. Your list should include the following: |
24 QB'S |
48 RB'S |
48 WR'S |
24 TE'S |
24 KICKERS |
24 DEFENSIVE TEAMS |
Draft choices for the initial draft cannot be traded. Players can be traded after the draft has been completed when the season starts with transactions.
Rosters will be locked after the initial draft until one week prior to the start of the season. |
(1) DRAFT YOUR TEAM Prepare your draft list and draft your own team in the live draft. |
(2) SUBMIT YOUR DESIRED DRAFT ORDER If you wish, you may submit a draft list for the commission to draft a team for you. Since you will know what pick you have in all the rounds, you will need to identify what position you want each round. EXAMPLE: Round 1 RB, Round 2 QB, Round 3 RB, and so on. Make sure to have picked at least 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR's, 1 TE 1 K, 1 Def, and 9 of any of the positions to meet the requirements of the roster. All lists must be E-mailed or mailed to the Commissioner prior to the live draft. |
(3) THE LEAGUE CAN DRAFT FOR YOU If you do not want to participate in the live draft, you may have the league draft the team for you. This option is similar to the option above, but we do all the work for you. This is for the owners that want to have fun with a team but do not have the time to prepare for a draft. |
Standings will not be official until Tuesday each week. League updates are posted real time but are not official. It is important to remember that the live scoring is not official as the games are going on as sometimes updates are not always correct as official scoring may change as the games are evaluated by the official NFL scorers |
LEAGUE NAME : All leagues will be given their own name. The league names will remain the same each year. Rivalries will be created and friends will be made. LEAGUES : Each league will be made up of 10, 12, 14, or 16 teams. DIVISIONS : Each league will have 1 Division made up of all teams in the league. |
Each team will play a 14 week game schedule each season. Each team will play each team at least once. Due to the 14 week schedule, in a 12 team league you will play an additional game against some teams during the regular season. The schedules will be posted after the draft order has been selected. |
The playoffs will consist of 8 teams. The top team in each division will receive the #1
and #2 seeds in the playoffs with best record of the of the two receiving the
#1 seed. The next 6 best records in the league will make the playoffs and be seeded
3 - 8 respectively. The top seeds will always play the lowest seed in the
playoffs. The playoff brackets will look like this Round 1 week 15: (#1 vs. #8), (#4 vs.#5) (#2 vs. #7)(#3 vs. #6) Round 2 Week 16 Winning Top seed would play the lowest seed. Round 3 Week 17 2 Winning teams would play in FANTASYTIME BOWL where the winner will be crowned the Fantasytime Bowl Champion. |
A tie (excluding the FANTASYTIME BOWL) will be decided by the following: The total bench points including the alternate if he is not the starter. If the tie is still not broken, then it will be the highest starting QB's score. If not then, it will continue with the starting RB's, WR's, TE, K, Def, and then the same with the bench. If this does not settle it, a coin flip. Home team has heads. Summary in order: Total Bench, Starting QB, RB's, WR'S, TE, K, DEF, the same with the bench, coin flip. |
This is for the seeding for the top spot in each division. A tie in Division standings will be decided by the following: 1. Overall Record 2. Division Record 3. Head to Head Record (if more then 2 teams are tied, one team must have swept all the games played within the teams tied. If not, then this is not used) 4. Total Points 5. Division Points 6. Coin Flip |
This is for the seeding in the playoffs spots (3 - 8)
as the division tie-breaker is different and is listed above. A tie in standings will be decided by the following: 1. Overall Record 2. Head to Head Record (if more then 2 teams are tied, one team must have swept all the games played within the teams tied. If not, then this is not used) 3. Total Points 4. Division Record 5. Division Points 6. Coin Flip |
The FANTASYTIME BOWL will be held in week 17. If there is a tie, the game will be played again in week 18 to decide the winner. If another tie occurs, the normal tie-breaker rules will be followed. |
Player position eligibility will be based on what position the player is listed as at http://www.nfl.com, the official web site of the NFL. The position a player is drafted or acquired from free agency, is the position he will remain for that season. If nfl.com lists a player at multiple positions, you can determine his permanent position when you draft or claim the player through a transaction. Once a player has been assigned to a position he must remain at that position for the remainder of the year. A player maybe reevaluated by the league after the completion of a season and be moved to another position if needed. Once a player is on a roster his position will not change even if he is released. |
Any owner having a protest, must file the protest with the Commissioner. The protest will be determined by the league rules and the Commissioner's judgment. If the Commissioner feels the protest is unclear, he will ask the league to vote on the issue. If the protest involves scoring, three forms of proof should be provided to support your claim. All protests must be submitted before the next week's games begin. Weekly Deadlines close Saturday night at 11:00 PM EST. No protests will be excepted after the close of the following week. |
Are one in the same. It is possible that a individual player and a defensive team could both be awarded points for the same score. Successful 1 and 2 point conversions will be considered offensive scoring, not special teams. |
Rule changes will only be made if it is in the best interest of the league. All rule changes would have to be passed by the league owners if it was in the middle of the season or a major change to the league. Our leagues are all about fun and interacting with others. We try to run our leagues on a personal and professional level and build relationships with our customers. |
Just in case an untimely event should occur, refunds will only be available prior to a teams initial draft. No refunds will be given after you have drafted your players. League Fees will be due prior to the initial draft each season. No refunds will be given after the draft has begun. |
Fantasytime Sports is all about fair and fun play for all owners. We promote a high quality interaction with the commissioner and provide bulletin boards and chat rooms for the owners to use. At no time should owners use the boards to down grade an owner or the leagues. Trash talking is fine as it is a part of the game, but it should be limited to the players playing for the owners and not disrespect for the league and its owners. Vulgarity and predigests is not allowed and can cause banishment from the leagues. Please respect others and treat them with the respect you would want. |
